If there’s anything I absolutely love, it’s peanut butter. I could eat it all day. If I could live off of peanut butter, I totally would. Unfortunately peanut butter is ridiculously high in calories and fat which is a total bummer considering the amount I like to put on my sandwiches. So, I found my new favorite alternative! Powdered peanut butter! Specifically this one from Better Body Foods! So here’s my usual go-to PB & banana smoothie with less fast and calories but with all the taste! *I was NOT endorsed by BBF to post this blog post!*
This recipe is creamy, delicious and full of PB goodness. For reference, 2 TBSP of regular peanut butter can be 180-200 calories, with 16 grams of fat and 7 grams of protein. 2 TBSP of the PB Fit is 70 calories, 2 grams of fat, and 8 grams of protein! You still get all the protein and none of the calories!
Vegan PB & Banana Smoothie
- 16oz of almond milk
- 2-4 TBSP of PBFit depending on your love for PB
- 2 small/medium frozen bananas (it needs to be frozen for the creaminess, but if you don’t have frozen, regular is fine just add ice cubes!)
- 1 scoop of your favorite vegan protein powder
That’s it! Put it all in a blender, blend, pour, enjoy!
Super easy and super filling! You can get the PB here! If you try this recipe, let me know how it goes for you!
