A few months ago, we had quite a little snow storm. We both were stuck inside and bored. Suddenly, we just decided to stop by the local animal shelter and see the pets they had ready for adoption. I really want a puppy, but that was out of the question unfortunately so we went to the cats. That’s where we met the sweetest cat you’ll ever know.
Name: Ophelia
Age: 1.5 years
Breed: Short hair domestic (grey)
Weight: 5 pounds, probably.
Height: Super small!
Fun facts!
- She talks A LOT. Ophie is very vocal and it’s the cutest thing.
- Ophie loves to have her belly rubbed. She will greet you by plopping on the ground and exposing her belly while trilling.
- Speaking of trilling, she does that A LOT as well!
- She likes to bring me her little fake mice plushies to bed.
- When I’m napping on the couch, she likes to snuggle in the blanket with me.
- She follows me pretty much everywhere around the house!
- Ophie has been assigned my very terrible personal assistant when I am working in the office and she naps right next to me.
Is the not the cutest thing ever?
I like to think that one of the reasons she’s such an amazing cat is because we don’t reprimand her for stuff like other people do. We don’t spray her with water or yell at her. Honestly, when we’re not home cats do whatever they want regardless of you yelling at them when you’re around. So what’s the point? She’s incredibly happy and she’s made us feel the same way!
