How I Make My Iced Coffee At Home

March 1, 2022 By Stephanie Hope No Comments

I get asked a lot on Instagram how I make my coffee every single time I post a photo of it. I figured it would be easiest if I make a quick blog post about it so it’s always available for you to look back on! If you know me, you’d know that I have a huge obsession with iced coffee. I mean, I have practically made it my entire personality. I’ll drink iced coffee in the middle of winter and be perfectly happy while I shiver, taking tiny sips and enjoying every ounce. So, let’s break down how exactly I make my iced coffee at home.

What I Use For Coffee

I recently splurged and got myself the Nespresso Vertuo during black Friday and it was the best purchase I have made for myself. Before that, I was using a regular Keurig machine with the latté maker attachment. It was great but it didn’t make cold foam, so it was hard to make iced coffee with it. Now, I use the Nespresso pods and Aeroccino to make my drink.

My go-to espresso is the Melozio Decaffeinato. It makes 7.77 ounces which fits perfectly in my cup!

How I Make It

The first thing I do is add a Torani syrup of choice to the bottom of my coffee mug. Then, I’ll pour the espresso over it and stir. The reason I don’t pour the coffee into my glass cup already is that the sudden temperature change can cause the glass to break and I don’t feel like tempering my cup every morning.

Once I stir, I pour the coffee into my Hyperchiller while will actually make the coffee cold in less than 60 seconds! It’s a must-have for anyone who loves iced coffee but hates watered-down drinks.

While the coffee is cooling down, I’ll pour my creamer and milk of choice into the Aeroccino up to the max line. If you press the button and hold, you’ll turn on the cold foam feature—this will make your milk thick and creamy without the heat (perfect for an iced drink!).

As the foam is being made, I’ll add more syrup to the bottom of my glass cup and add a bunch of ice. Then, I’ll pour the coffee over that and finish it off by pouring the foam on top. A quick stir with my glass straw and it’s done!

It’s super easy and absolutely delicious! Also, if you love my cup, you get it here from Moon Tide Creations! Mine is custom-ordered, but she has so many adorable designs to choose from!

Hope you enjoy your coffee & check out the blog for more fun content! <3

i still can’t believe there’s a wee baby insid i still can’t believe there’s a wee baby inside my body right now ready to come out soon. just squirming around, hiccuping. it’s so unreal. the fact that my body just knows what to do despite spending my entire adult life convinced i 1. didn’t want a child and 2. wasn’t capable of being a (good) mother.

if i’m being honest, my fears came from my poor relationship with my own mother. i was raised to be afraid, to never feel like i would be good enough (spoiler alert: never was to her!) but to constantly try, and to feel like i had to buy love from people around me. now i know better. i know that i can just love my daughter unconditionally, help her see that i will ALWAYS be her safe space and never the thing to be afraid of, and that she never has to buy my love.

being a mom is something i never thought i would do, but i am ready to dive in and be the mother i always wanted growing up but never had. 💕 Photos are all from @jaceyanastasio ! #motherhood #pregnancyjourney #maternityshoot
I don’t see my stretch marks as battle scars, ti I don’t see my stretch marks as battle scars, tiger stripes, or a badge of honor. To me, they’re just skin stretching—because that’s what skin does. It doesn’t have to carry a deeper meaning or be a symbol of anything. It doesn’t have to be proof that I’m a mom to make me feel like a mom. My motherhood isn’t defined by the marks on my body; it’s in the love I give, the patience I practice, and the moments that shape this journey.

I don’t need to call my stretch marks anything to accept them, and for me, that’s freeing. They’re not good or bad, beautiful or ugly—they just are. A natural part of being human, of growing, of changing.

That being said, if giving them a name or a purpose helps you embrace them, that’s amazing! Every mom’s journey is different, and so is the way we process the changes that come with it. This is simply what works for me—letting my body be, without pressure to find meaning in every mark. No labels needed, no justification required. Just me, existing as I am. #pregnancyjourney #stretchmarks #pregnancyphotoshoot #maternityshoot
