How to Throw A Fall-Themed Craft Party!

September 29, 2018 By Stephanie Hope 2 Comments

This post was made in partnership with Kleenex® Wet Wipes. All opinions my own.

If you know me, you’d know that I’m a serious introvert! It’s so hard for me to put myself out there, but I have always wanted to be one of those people. I decided that one of the best ways to get started on being more social is to throw a little party. However, regular parties make me anxious. So, why not a craft party? I have always wanted to do one of these with friends and family! Here’s how to throw your very own fall-themed craft party!

Choose Your Craft

The first thing I had to do was figure out exactly what I wanted to make. So, I took out my phone and went on my trusty Pinterest app to look at my DIY board. I’m not saying I spent hours looking for something, but I did. I’m a notorious over-thinker and with the help of James, I chose: Fall wreaths! Seeing these all the time in stores always made me want one but the price kept me away.

After finding a few different wreath photos on Pinterest, I went with the grapevine wreath look. So I bought six on the Michael’s website, and purchased all kinds of flowers and leaves to add to them as well! The total for everything for 6 people cost me about $50-70, which I think is reasonable! Some of my guests were bringing their own glue guns which was helpful. However, all I could think about was how sticky and messy this project could get; and I was so ready for it!

Snacks!

Usually people will go for chips and dip when it comes to parties, but not me. I went for homemade snicker doodle cookies, warm apple cider, and homemade, delicious, sticky, messy cinnamon rolls. It’s not a party if you don’t get messy!

Just look at this amazing cinnamon rolls! They are the perfect treat on a chilly Saturday morning with a nice cup of warm cider!

You can never go wrong with snickerdoodle cookies- they’re my favorite!

Since there was going to be quite a mess happening with crafts and snacks, I absolutely had to include Kleenex® Wet Wipes, which is designed for everyday use on hands and face! With these sticky cinnamon rolls, and hot glue guns for the wreaths, we were READY for FUN! I always count on Kleenex® Wet Wipes to clean off any mess and let me continue to throw this amazing party!

I was so nervous that I didn’t get enough supplies, or that people would get bored. There was so many anxious thoughts running through my head, but it turns out that everyone had a great time, made their very own wreaths and got messy without a worry! We ate, we DIY’d, we wiped, we conquered! Having these Kleenex® Wet Wipes makes me feel like I can absolutely throw another DIY party, invite everyone over and have a great time!

my waist is the smallest part of my torso, which m my waist is the smallest part of my torso, which means it makes me look “skinnier” when i accentuate my waist. and there’s nothing wrong with me wanting to show off my waist! however, i have always believed i couldn’t wear an outfit i liked unless it was flattering to my figure. i constantly sacrificed comfort for the sake of showing people “hey i don’t actually look this big!” so i put on these very flattering pants and decided that i should just wear it with the matching oversized top, even though it makes me look “bigger.” and guess what? i’m SO comfy! set is from @popflex_active #postpartum #mombod #motherhood #midsize #midsizegals
one thing i want to try and do as a mother is NOT one thing i want to try and do as a mother is NOT teach my daughter to be scared of bugs. i wish i wasn’t so terrified—it ruins my mood and makes me feel out of control of my body when i can’t help but run away when they come near me. i have absolutely ZERO idea how i will overcome this fear around her, so any advice is so helpful! until she’s old enough, i will continue hiding in cozy tents like this. 🫠 #motherhood #sunday #gratuitosfootpicyouaresowelcome
