I am so excited to finally start sharing news and content surrounding my debut and just me as an author in general. I have been on this journey for several years now—I’d love to share my entire journey with you, but for now let’s talk a bit about my debut.
MORE LIKE ENEMIGAS is set to publish in the beginning of April 2026. The book was bought by Carina Adores, an imprint of Harlequin. Now, before you jump the gun, it’s important for me to note that this book is not your quintessential Harlequin novel. You know the one—with Fabio on the cover and a damsel in distress? I can only dream to write up something to sensual and iconic.
No, my novel is a queer, specifically sapphic, rom-com. It’s filled with family drama, enemies to lovers, and even a cozy summer camp vibe. Also, it’s all about a wedding, so if you’re a fan of wedding books, you’ll probably love this one! I don’t want to share too much just yet—I’m going to leave that for another post.
The cover to my debut will be revealed on Friday on my social media, so be sure to follow me @imstephaniehope on Instagram so you don’t miss out. It will also be updated here on my site as well, so don’t worry if you’re not on social media. Can’t say that I blame you. I’m so excited to share because it’s nothing like I would have thought for my first book. I’m so curious to see what everyone thinks of it.
