You may not know this about me if this is your first time to my blog, but I’m originally from South Florida. I moved up to the Berkshires seven years ago and it wasn’t until then that I truly understood what the “holiday spirit” actually is. Christmas in Florida is not like Christmas in New England. Decorated green lawns, lit up palm trees, and 90 degree weather beaming down on your back is just not ideal. In fact, I was completely convinced that snow was only in movies and those decorated streets with beautiful lights and snow were a myth. Being able to drive around neighborhoods and see beautifully decorated homes through the curtains made me want to have it one day myself. So here we are. I have dedicated way too much time to make our living room the holiday room of my Floridian fantasies. I’m so excited to show you our Christmas living room decor with Christmas Tree Shops andThat!
Christmas Living Room Decor
As you may have seen from my previous visits to Christmas Tree Shops andThat! is that their seasonal assortment is ever-changing which can be so exciting if you visit often. Every time I come, it’s like a completely new store with a unique treasure-hunt experience.
All of the beautiful holiday decorations really got me in the spirit to decorate our living room as adorable and cozy as possible. Each little assortment gave me new inspiration on how I wanted to decorate our space.
I love being able to come to one store and get everything I need to decorate our home and be done with it! Every single piece is so unique and so affordable, it’s hard to stop!
I was so excited to find all the cute little assortments I did and get started on decorating the space.
The Living Room Reveal
How incredibly cozy is this space?! For our living room, I wanted to go for the traditional colors of Christmas. I also wanted to give it an almost nostalgic feel. Every time I walk into the living room, it’s like I’m in a different world- the best world in my opinion.
We don’t have a fancy fireplace, but we hung these stockings on the bookcase with this adorable stocking holder we got.
The nutcrackers guard the television. The television is framed by a pre-lit garland which was totally my original idea. I’m so proud of thinking of it! Adding the little frames above the TV helped fill the blank space at the top. It also directs your eyes upward.
If you’re looking to decorate your space this holiday season, I highly recommend you check out Christmas Tree Shops andThat! They will have all the fun finds you need at affordable prices.
