If you follow me on Instagram you’ll have already seen some before and afters of the bathroom renovation, but I still really wanted to do a blog post about it! This was the first project I have taken over by myself (with very minimal help from James to put up the shelves) and I’m so proud of my work. This was a super budget reno, and there’s still so much more we could do to the space, but I really love the way it came out!
Budget: $200.00ish
Things I bought:
- Floating Shelves from Home Depot
- Shelf Decor from Home Goods
- Bath mat from Home Goods
- Artwork from Home Goods
Things I did:
- Ripped off the wallpaper and sanded the walls
- One coat of primer
- 2 coats of white paint
- Installed floating shelves
- Hung up artwork
- Decorated shelves
That’s it! It was a super simple project that cost me around $200 for all the materials. We already had the paint so I didn’t have to purchase that. The highest ticket purchase was the shelves, around $25 each for the large ones. The smaller ones came in a pack for about $12. I did need James’ help putting up the shelves because otherwise they would have been totally crooked. I took some decor from different rooms of the house and also added it in there so I didn’t have to put such a dent on the budget.
